Ok, so it’s been a couple weeks! But I’ve been busy and I want to share a couple really cool things with you guys.
I’ve had the privilege of being featured on two awesome independent film sites this week!
I’ve been doing a lot of networking recently and meeting a bunch of really cool people. For some reason I was able to connect with two people in particular. They both love helping people reach their goals in the independent film industry.
So where does this tie in with racecar driving?
Well, if you didn’t already know, I’m a professional stunt driver for television, film, and live entertainment. And as you can imagine, people frequently ask me how they can start doing what I do. And I’m always eager to share my tips and experiences with everyone!
It turns out that Alex Ferrari of Indie Film Hustle was excited about me writing a guest post about how someone can become a pro driver. You can see the whole article by clicking through this link: http://www.indiefilmhustle.com/stunt-driver/.
This was a ridiculously fun post to write! It took me most of a week and ended up being over 3600 words. There is a HUGE amount of value that you should absolutely not pass up if you’re interested in high-performance driving.
I was also really excited that Scott McMahon at Film Trooper was interested in the marketing aspect of stunts. In other words he thought his viewers would be interested in how a freelance stunt performer can rise above the flooded market and stand out from the crowd.
This was my first video cast we talked for about an hour via Google chat. My video equipment is not good, but my audio set up is amazing. You can watch my appearance on his segment called Film Marketing Fridays at http://filmtrooper.com/098-film-marketing-fridays-how-to-market-yourself-as-a-stunt-performer/.
As a quick side note…
I’ll be working on something very big and absurdly valuable for everything this winter…what could it be?
